Isocort Dosage - Recommended Instructions for Taking Isocort

Isocort is a medication taken orally to combat fatigue. It is a non-prescription tablet that contains Cortisol and is used to support the adrenal gland.

People medicate with Isocort to support the adrenal gland by treating thyroid conditions. Symptoms of depleted adrenal gland include fatigue, allergies, depression, lack of energy, and anxiety. A depleted adrenal gland can be caused by excessive stress, lack of protein and vitamin C in the diet, too much caffeine or other stimulants, and lack of rest.

Isocort restores and supports adrenal gland functions as it contains Cortisol, which assists the glands in healing themselves to work more effectively in the body. Therefore, taking the correct Isocort dosage is critical in the healing process since too much could hinder the return to normal functioning of the adrenal glands. The right Isocort dosage will gently provide the adreno-cortical that will boost a person’s energy and have them feeling like normal.

Isocort Dosage

It is generally recommended that three Isocort tablets be taken with breakfast and three tablets be taken with lunch, or three tablets with breakfast, two tablets four hours later, and one in tablet four hours. This dosage should be taken daily. Isocort dosage should not exceed eight tablets per day.

A person weighing over 150 pounds may have to adjust the dosage for maximum effectiveness. Some people with extreme fatigue may find it easier to take two Isocort tablets four times a day to get the maximum dosage.

It may take from six to eighteen months to see maximum effectiveness of Isocort, depending on the individual and the severity of the problem. A person committing to taking Isocort daily in the recommended dosage will see less fatigue and increased stamina and energy in anywhere from seven to twenty-one days. Allergy symptoms lessen, and a person will feel more productive and alert throughout the day.

To enhance the effectiveness of Isocort, it is recommended that caffeine and stimulant intake be reduced. Cut back slowly to wean the body from dependence on these substances to reduce withdrawal symptoms which could include headaches and nervousness. Also limit the use of white sugar and white flour. On the other hand, increase the intake of proteins each meal, and take at least 3,000 mg of vitamin C throughout the day. Eating red meat and eggs are good sources of protein. Starting the day with a breakfast that contains protein and eating small meals throughout the day will help stabilize blood sugar levels. Remember to get at least eight hours of sleep each night to reduce tiredness and fatigue symptoms.
